ME3 Junk Solutions
Fence and lumber demolition debris staged for ME3 Junk Solutions haul-off in the Brazos Valley

Light Demolition · Bryan–College Station

Light demolition and heavy-item removal

Sheds, playsets, fences, decks, hot tubs, cabinets and interior tear-outs taken down and hauled off, plus heavy one-off items like safes and pianos.

The shed in the back corner has a soft floor and a roof that's given up. The kids outgrew the playset years ago. And the hot tub hasn't held water since the pump died. None of it will fit through a gate in one piece. ME3 Junk Solutions takes it down, loads it and hauls it off.

This is for homeowners getting a backyard back, landlords clearing a rental lot, and anyone with something too big, too heavy or too built-in for a normal pickup. Safes, pianos and commercial gym equipment fit here too.

What this covers

  • Shed and small-structure tear-down
  • Playset and swing-set removal
  • Wood and chain-link fence removal
  • Deck tear-out
  • Hot tub removal
  • Cabinet and interior tear-outs
  • Heavy items: gun safes, pianos and commercial gym equipment

What light demolition means here

Light demolition is the small-structure work that falls between a junk pickup and a construction crew. A wood or metal shed. A backyard deck. A run of fence. A playset, a hot tub, or a wall of old cabinets in a kitchen or garage. The crew takes it apart, loads every piece, hauls it off and cleans up the spot where it stood.

This all falls under ME3 Specialty: heavy, unusual or custom work. Each job is quoted on its own scope, from photos or an on-site look, because size, materials and access decide the labor. If you're in Bryan, see demolition in Bryan for local detail.

Before anything comes down

A few things need to happen first, and they're on the owner. A hot tub needs its power shut off and disconnected by an electrician. A shed with power or water run to it needs those lines cut off safely. Empty the shed of anything you're keeping, and mark it.

Check that the structure is really yours to remove and that nothing like a gas line or a sprinkler line runs under a deck. The old shed guide and what to expect with hot tub removal walk through both jobs step by step.

Fences, decks and old timbers

Wood fence and deck boards are light for their size, but posts set in concrete aren't. Those footings are heavy material and get quoted on their own. Old railroad ties and landscape timbers are another heavy one, and they're awkward to carry.

Say whether posts need to come out of the ground or can be cut at grade. That one detail changes the work a lot.

Playsets and swing sets are often anchored in the ground too. Wood playsets come apart in sections, and the anchors get pulled or cut. Metal swing sets and trampolines are lighter, but the legs may be set in concrete.

Safes, pianos and gym equipment

Some removals don't need demolition, just a lot of careful muscle. A gun safe on a slab, an upright piano on a second floor or a commercial treadmill in a home gym all fall under ME3 Specialty. They get a starting price or an on-site quote, because weight and access decide the work.

Send a photo, the make and model if you know it, and the path out: stairs, turns, thresholds. Gym gear is usually heavier than it looks, and most of it has to come apart to clear a door.

Interior tear-outs

Inside the house, light demolition usually means cabinets, built-in shelving, an old vanity, or carpet and pad from a few rooms. The crew pulls them out, carries them through the house and loads them.

Anything structural is a job for a licensed contractor, and so is anything that touches plumbing or wiring. Have those disconnected first. If the tear-out is part of a bigger remodel, the leftover debris can go out with construction debris removal.

Pricing and cleanup

Every demolition job is quoted before it starts, and the price is firm once the scope is set. Photos from a couple of angles, plus a rough size, are usually enough to start. The pricing page explains how weight and access change a quote. When the work is done, the debris is gone and the ground is cleared of nails and scraps. Usable materials go to reuse when practical.

Questions

Light demolition: questions

Does a hot tub have to be drained before it's removed?
Yes. Drain it and have an electrician disconnect the power before the crew comes. The crew takes it from there.
Can you move a gun safe out of a house if it's going to be scrapped?
Yes. Safes are ME3 Specialty work. Send a photo, the rough size and the path out, and you'll get a starting price or an on-site quote.
Do you tear out old kitchen or garage cabinets?
Yes. Cabinet and interior tear-outs are light demolition. The crew pulls them, loads them and cleans up. Plumbing and electrical should be disconnected first.
