Junk Removal · Bryan–College Station
Household junk removal, loaded and hauled for you
Household items, boxes, mixed unwanted contents, everyday removal needs — and the single big items normal trash service won't take.
The spare room has been a storage room for two years. There's a broken recliner, a stack of boxes from the last move, a desk nobody uses, and bags of stuff that never got sorted. None of it fits in the trash cart, and you don't own a truck. ME3 Junk Solutions carries it out, loads it, and hauls it off.
This page is for the everyday household job: one big item, a mixed pile, or a room that needs to be empty again. If it's a whole house, a garage or a storage unit, there's a page for that too, but most calls start right here.
What this covers
- General household junk and mixed unwanted contents
- Bulk-item removal: single large items or small groups of bulky items normal trash service will not take
- Mattress and box spring removal, subject to disposal rules
- Yard and light debris: appropriate light yard debris and property cleanup material — dense or heavy material quoted separately
- Tires: up to 24.5 in. $15 each, over 24.5 in. $40 each
When the city pickup isn't the answer
Bryan and College Station both run brush and bulky pickup, and for some piles that's the right call. But the rules are tight. Bryan's trash cart can't hold furniture, appliances, construction debris, electronics or household chemicals. Bulky items have to be at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day, and they can't go out more than 48 hours early. Bryan also caps each home at 22 cubic yards of brush and bulky material a week.
College Station wants bulky items at the curb by 8 a.m. on collection day, and it says plain bags of household garbage don't count as bulky. Out in the county, the rules are Brazos County's, posted on its trash collection page.
So if the stuff is upstairs, if you can't drag it to the curb, or if it's a mix the city won't take in one pile, that's where ME3 Junk Solutions comes in. The Brazos Valley disposal guide lays out the city options side by side if you want to try those first.
Pick the level of help you need
Not every household job needs the same amount of labor, so it isn't priced like it does. There are three ways most of these jobs go.
- ME3 Express: you stage it at the curb, the driveway or the garage door, and the crew loads it. Least labor, lowest cost.
- ME3 Full Service: you gather it in one spot, inside or out, and the crew does the carrying and loading.
- ME3 White Glove: you point at it, wherever it is. Upstairs rooms, back bedrooms, attics and tight halls are all fair game.
How a household pickup gets priced
The load is priced by how much room it takes in the trailer. A few boxes and a lamp take a sliver. A room full of furniture takes a lot more. Heavy material like dirt, brick or tile is a different story and gets quoted on its own.
Text a couple of photos and you'll get a realistic range. Stairs, long carries and anything that has to come apart can add cost, and that's settled before anyone picks anything up. You get one firm price before loading. Same scope, same price. The pricing page shows how it all works.
A little prep goes a long way
You don't have to do much. Decide what stays, and set it aside or tape a note on it. Clear a path from the pile to the door if you can. Put pets up. If something's on a second floor or behind a narrow door, say so when you text, so the price you get is the real one. Park cars so the trailer can back up close, and leave a gate unlocked if the pile is out back. There's a short list in how to prepare for junk removal.
What we can't take
Most of what's in a house can go. A few things can't ride in the trailer at all, so pull them out of the pile before the crew arrives:
- Chemicals, solvents, pesticides and any liquid you can't identify
- Liquid paint, stains and thinners
- Gasoline, diesel, oil and other fuels
- Asbestos, or anything you suspect has it
- Medical waste, needles and biohazards
- Explosives, ammunition and fireworks
- Propane tanks and other pressurized cylinders
- Anything radioactive
Where the hazardous stuff can go instead
The full list of what we can't take is on the FAQ page. For old paint, pool chemicals and garden sprays, BVSWMA holds household hazardous waste collection events. See what it accepts on the Twin Oaks site, and TCEQ keeps a statewide list of collection contacts.
What happens to it after it leaves
Loads go to Twin Oaks Landfill, out in Anderson. Scrap metal goes to Bryan Iron & Metal. College Station asks residents to donate usable items to local nonprofits before putting them at the curb, which is good advice whoever hauls it. If something's still worth giving away, set it aside before pickup day.
When the trailer's loaded, the crew sweeps up where the pile was. You're left with a clean floor, not a new mess.

Questions
Junk removal: questions
- Do you carry things out of the house, or only pick up at the curb?
- Both. Curb pickup is ME3 Express. If it's inside, upstairs or in a back room, that's Full Service or White Glove, and the crew does the carrying.
- Will you take a mixed pile of boxes, bags and small stuff, not just big items?
- Yes. Mixed household piles are most of the work. Loose small stuff is easier to load if it's boxed or bagged, but it doesn't have to be.
- Can you haul off items the city left behind at my curb?
- Yes. When Bryan crews leave something, they hang a notice on the door that says why. Text a photo of the pile and you'll get a range for hauling it.
- Is one bulky item worth a call, or should I wait until I have more?
- One item is worth a call. The pickup minimum on the pricing page applies, so if you have a few more things to go, adding them to the same trip is usually the better use of it.
